Gasless
Gasless transactions, or simply Gasless, are a feature of W5 standard wallets that allow token transfers without the need for GRAM in the balance.
How does Gasless work?
Any transaction in Tonkeeper is an on-chain operation, meaning that to interact with the blockchain, a network fee in GRAM must be paid. As a result, transactions with other tokens were impossible without GRAM in the balance.
With the release of the W5 standard, Gasless transactions eliminate the need for GRAM, as the transaction fee can now be deducted from the token's balance. Gasless transactions are available for the following tokens: USDT, jUSDT, NOT, tsTON, DOGS, CATI, HMSTR, CATS, X, MAJOR, PX, BUILD.
Here's how it works step by step:
- You sign the transaction, which includes:
- Sending tokens to the recipient.
- Sending a small amount of tokens to the service.
- The service receives your transaction, verifies it, and sends it to the blockchain, paying the fee in Gram.
- Tokens are credited to the recipient’s address, and the service takes its small fee.
How to use Gasless?
At the final step of token transfer, you can now choose how to pay the fee: either in GRAM or, for example, in USDT (if you're transferring that token).

What is the difference between Gasless and Battery?
Both Gasless and Battery were developed by the Tonkeeper team to simplify wallet use by allowing transactions without the extra step of purchasing GRAM to pay fees in advance.
The main differences between these features are that gasless transactions are only available on W5 wallets and for a limited list of tokens. Battery, on the other hand, has no such restrictions: it can be used on all wallet versions and with any tokens.
