What does the 'Unverified' label mean on tokens and NFTs?
The 'Unverified' labels are assigned to tokens or NFTs that have not been verified and may indicate the following:
- The token has low liquidity. It might have some value, but it’s extremely small.
- The token isn’t listed on trading platforms like STON.fi or DeDust.
- The token or NFT may be used for spam — for example, distributed in bulk to random wallet addresses.
- The token or NFT may be used for scams — its name, image, or description may be misleading or imitate another token or collection.
The 'Unverified' label doesn’t prevent you from interacting with the token or NFT — it’s just a visual warning to help you stay cautious.
❗️If you received USDT, TON, or other well-known tokens that are marked as 'Unverified', it indicates that you have received a fake token.
How to remove the 'Unverified' label?
Only the creator of the token or NFT collection can remove this label. There are a few options:
- Get the token listed on a DEX, such as STON.fi or DeDust.
- Submit a verification request. You can find more details here.
